Loom of Death and a look at my craft room.

So I got a new knitting loom, its a whopping 28" long. And I am currently making my first afgan on it.

While I was at it I decided to take a picture of my little craft room. Soon it will be decked out with fancy new shelves on either side of the desk, maybe even go out and get a new desk. Who knows.

WIP's

So I'm working on some stuff... yea crazy more then one project at a time.

First a cute beanie set with either gloves of some sort or a scarf maybe both. In a really pretty English Rose. Not only for myself but something for my sister in law as well.

Second is a pair of mits for myself. They are in a green and brown mix, hopefully they come out nicely.

This is what is done so far. Hopefully I will have more progress soon, Im not really sure how long I want the gloves. So the first is either 1/3 of the way done or 1/2. Who knows?

Stress, releif... no wait make that more stress.

Something I love about knitting is that it really calms me down, something I hate about working is that it leaves me with less time for knitting. I have to say though I do love my job, working with games is by far one of the coolest things ever, only thing cooler would be working at the yarn store, but then I really wouldn't make any money at all.

Anyways so I am working on a paper for class which is set up in like to dumbest way ever. It's super stressful. We also have company this weekend which makes us have to work super hard core on the house to get it ready for them. Well there just isn't any time to do anything, friends showed up early... yay. And so I'm not done with the paper, the house really isn't ready and I just want to knit but I just, well it's kinda complicated. But yea.

I'm halfway tempted to just stay home tonight and knit, but its a new house and it still creeps me out to be here alone at night... sigh. I just can't win it seems. Well venting on here helped a little. Maybe I can go hang out in the back room and knit where there is light.

First Post Time

Greetings ladies and germs, I'm Phenix. I'm also rather strange, but I like to think it just keeps things interesting. Anywho other then I got antsy and put up our tree early for Christmas and that Jack (my kitty) tried to remove it himself.

*sigh*

Ah well at least he is leaving my yarn alone.

Well I still have things to knit and some and clean the house so I can be at the knitting store tomorrow.
